Tisha Pierce joined the Communication Disorders faculty full-time in August of 2001. She teaches Anatomy and Physiology of Communication and Fluency. Ms. Pierce serves as a clinical supervisor for undergraduate and graduate clinicians as they meet clinical requirements.

Her research interests include those pertaining language acquisition and dysphagia in the pediatric population. Ms. Pierce is currently pursuing a doctoral study in these areas.

Ms. Pierce serves as Past-President for the Regional Association for Communication Disorders and is a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and the Arkansas Speech Language and Hearing Association. She also serves as co-sponsor for the ASU chapter of the National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association.
